The LJ body shape is designed to provide guitarists with a comfortable fit when seated. While volume output is a little less than the LL, the LJ offers a wide dynamic range, a low-end with strong presence, and a crisp tone that accommodates a wide range of playing styles from lead to strumming.

The L16 features all-solid Rosewood/Mahogany back and sides with a hand-selected premium Engelmann Spruce top. A newly designed bracing pattern and A.R.E. treatment create rich warmth and open resonance while maintaining excellent tone balance which makes this gutar fit in a band perfectly. In addition, a new comfortable neck profile and Yamaha's Zero impact pickup ensure you a stress-free performance on stage.

A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) is an original wood reforming technology developed by Yamaha. Through precise controll of temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, the molecular properties of the wood can be manipulated into a more acoustically ideal condition, similar to the molecular characteristics of woods in instruments that have been played for years.
