Welcome to Beginner Percussion Camp, where the fun never stops! As a parent, you want your child to have a blast while exploring new interests, and that's exactly what our camp is all about. Your child will have the opportunity to try out a variety of percussion instruments, including drums, congas, bongos, djembes, timpani, xylophones, marimbas, vibraphones, and more. They'll learn the basics of rhythm and timing in a fun, hands-on setting. Our experienced instructors will guide your child in working together with other aspiring percussionists to create an ensemble performance at the end of the week. They'll have a blast building friendships and gaining confidence in their skills.

Please note, this is a 4-day camp due to the Civic Holiday.

Introducing our Beginner Piano Summer Camp, a week-long musical adventure focused on beginner piano education. Each Cosmo Camper will receive hands-on experience on their own piano, engaging in playful activities and interactive games that make learning enjoyable and educational. Led by experienced instructors, kids will discover basic piano skills, keyboard geography, and the joy of making music. By week's end, Cosmo Campers not only gain foundational piano skills but also the confidence to continue their musical journey. Join us for a week of discovery and fun!

Are you ready to strum your way to the top? Our camp is specifically designed for students who are interested in learning how to play the ukulele. Throughout the camp, you'll learn the basics of the ukulele, from how to hold the instrument and strumming techniques, to chords and playing songs. Our Camp Leaders will guide Cosmo Campers through the process and make sure they are learning new techniques while having fun! In addition to learning how to play the ukulele, students will also have the opportunity to participate in jam sessions with other campers, gain confidence and develop further musical skills.

Unleash your child's inner performer with the Cosmo School of Music's triple threat, Sing, Dance, and Act Camp! This one-week camp is designed for students between the ages of 6 to 9, who are interested in singing, dancing, and acting. Campers will work together to develop their skills in singing, dancing, and acting, learning everything from stage presence to vocal technique. They will also get to experience the joy of performing in a group and working as a team to put on a musical show by the end of the week. In addition to the performing arts, campers will also have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and engage in music-related activities together.

We're always looking for individuals to join our team of dedicated music educators during our music camps. By volunteering at the Cosmo School of Music, you can:

• Build your resume and gain valuable experience working with children in a camp setting.
• Earn the compulsory 40 hours of community service for high school (check with your school for eligibility).
• Receive a reference letter from the Director of the Cosmo School of Music, which can be used for university, college, and/or job applications.
• Be part of a team of dedicated music educators and make new friends.
• Positively impact the lives of young music students by sharing your love of music.
