Jargar double bass strings are made on a fine, twisted wire core.
All Bass strings - G, D, A, E and H - are wound with thin threads of metal - aluminium, copper and different alloys. The strings produce a warm, big and well-balanced tone.
The E-string in also available in a version with extra length, called "Extension."
The Dolce strings can be tuned for solo playing, while the Forte and Medium strings can only be used with orchestra tuning.
Jargar bass strings are all for full size instruments
Tension
Forte: Red colour in the ball end and blue colour in the peg end
Medium: Blue colour in both ends
Dolce: Green colour in both ends
Approximate diameters of medium strings:
G: 1.31mm
D: 1.64mm
A: 2.02mm
E: 2.79mm
Ext.: 2.95mm
H: 3.59mm
The Forte strings are a little thicker and the Dolce strings a little thinner than the medium strings
