The Valencia Bodhran features a soft attack with deep bass tones and is capable of producing pitch-bending notes. Constructed with an Acousticon shell, a vinyl Bahia Bass drumhead and internal tuning system, the Valencia Bodhran is a large Frame Drum with a crossbar in the back. It is typically low-pitched and is played with a double-headed wooden mallet called a cipĂn, tipper or beater. Ideal for traditional Celtic Drumming and dance applications. The Valencia Bodhran is available in an antique brown wood grain finish. Includes a hex tuning key and tipper drumstick.
