Elton Rohn, Canada's premiere Elton John tribute band, continues to thrill audiences everywhere. One of Cosmo Music's favourites for CosmoFEST, they have headlined over 350 theatres and festival shows in North America. From Las Vegas to Atlantic City, California, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Myrtle Beach, Pennsylvania, across Michigan and upstate New York, and all across Canada. They were the only Elton John tribute asked to play the Elton John convention in Las Vegas.
Davey Johnstone, Elton’s long-time guitarist and musical director, told the band they were the best '70s Elton John tribute in the world. Not to mention, Nigel Olsson, Elton’s long time drummer, said “Elton has a twin." The audience at CosmoFEST will be amazed at just how close this show sounds to the real Elton John. As Elton, Ron Camilleri has the vocal, the piano, the look and the feel of the real Elton John performance. The passion, energy and those incredible vocals are there. Plus the harmonies. Performed live (no tracks), the band is the closest you’ll get to the real '70s Elton sound. Even Davey Johnstone thinks so. The band is a regular best in show at festivals and they’ve sold out theatres in major cities.

Elton Rohn band has a tremendous following. They've been fortunate to have played some incredible venues. They've headlined over 300 theatres and festival shows in Canada and the USA and met some incredible people along the way in so many amazing places. Their special orchestra shows mean they can play as a five, six, seven or eleven piece band. On top of that they can do orchestra shows. Their Musical director is Len Solomon, a Juno award winning highly sought after musician. To hear the band with orchestra accompaniment is really special.
Where available, they have also created a visual treat. They play all the music 100% live, and in some theatres, they are able to bring our video projection show as well. Many people have contributed to this element of the show. Actual Elton John photography is included on a few songs courtesy of world-renowned John Rowlands. On top of this they have some backdrop images that showcase all the photographers we've worked with.
They love to involve fans in the show, so coming all the way from Spain, Juan Manuel Escrihuela Ruiz created his own original artwork that they've included in the performance. You'll see his work on Candle in the Wind and Empty Garden. And Phil Davis from Wisconsin in the USA has contributed his work to Rocket Man.
Combining the look, the feel and the sound of a real Elton John show. The show features full harmonies and all musicians playing and singing 100% live (no backing tracks). This is a world class show. The energy is high, the music is familiar and the audience is engaged. Elton John has the widest possible demographic and the performers have played to tens of thousands of Elton John fans, many who sing along to the fabulous catalogue of music. The show is perfectly suited for festivals and theatres.
