Designed by renowned clarinetist Daniel Bonade, this ligature uses a system of "pressure ribs" to hold the reed securely at points just off-center of the reed. This allows the reed's edges and heart to vibrate more fully, resulting in a fuller, richer tone and greater reed playability.
