A passive DI box that is designed to provide superior sound quality and ultra-low noise and ultra-linear performance for the highest signal integrity. It is equipped with a custom-built MIDAS transformer and has a high headroom design with a custom instrumentation-grade input circuit. The DI box has unbalanced stereo Left and Right RCA and 1/8" TRS Input connectors, as well as a high quality Neutrik Output XLR jack that sends a balanced, summed mono version of the input to your mixing board or other processing device. It also has high-precision Left and Right Level controls and an Earth Lift switch to separate the input and output grounds and eliminate earth loops between equipment on different mains electricity supplies. The DI box has a fully transformer-isolated design to ensure pristine performance, even in large-scale production environments. It is housed in a compact and rugged aluminium extrusion casing with protective rubber corners, and is built to handle the rigours of life on the road. It is ideal for interfacing MP3 players, CD players, keyboard or drum submixers, and a variety of other stereo sources to mixing consoles.
