The Muse Driver, co-designed by Robert and Andy, is a versatile blues driver circuit featuring three controls and two switches for customizable Drive and Tone settings. In AT Clipping mode, the Drive Switch utilizes asymmetrical LED diode clipping, delivering Andy’s Super AT Mod sound with a bright and articulate attack. Alternatively, in RK Clipping mode, two germanium diodes create a smoother, slightly compressed drive reminiscent of a vintage fuzz pedal.
The AT position on the Tone control captures Andy’s preferred voicing, ensuring clear and articulate notes in chords. Shifting to the RK Position activates the renowned Phat Boost, enriching low-end frequency response and perfect for enhancing vintage or single-coil pickups.
Crafted to meet the demands of recording and touring, every aspect of the circuit is optimized for superior tone.
