Demo Review Transcript

Hi, my name is Drake Metcalf from Cosmo Music’s guitar department, and today we have here the brand new Keeley Muse Driver pedal. This pedal is a collaboration from Andy Timmons. Featuring a classic blues driver circuit as well as two tone switch parameters. To switch between a boost as well as a drive switch to switch between germanium and silicone diodes. This pedal also features 9 volt and 18 volt capabilities to really push the pedal into fuzz territories.

Let’s see how this guy sounds. Right now the two tone parameters set down for the Dr. Robert recommended setting.

For this next setting, I turned on the germanium and turned up the drive a bit to go into a little more fuzzy kind of sound.

For our next setting I turned our drive down as well as the drive parameter and our attack on the boost up to give it a little more of a boost kind of sound.

I’d say out of those three settings, that last natural boost was honestly my personal favourite. If you’re a fan of what you heard, come on down and give it a try here at Cosmo Music. We’re worth the visit.

The new Keeley Muse Driver Pedal offers versatile drive options. In the AT Clipping mode, asymmetrical LED diode clipping delivers Andy Timmons’ Super AT Mod sound with a bright, articulate attack. Switching to RK Clipping engages two germanium diodes for a smoother, slightly compressed drive, akin to a vintage fuzz pedal. In the AT position, the Tone control reflects Andy’s preferred voicing, ensuring clear and articulate notes in chords. Meanwhile, the RK Position features the legendary Phat Boost, enhancing low-end frequency response — ideal for vintage or single-coil pickups. Crafted with precision for a recording and touring artist like Andy Timmons, every aspect of the circuit is optimized for tone. Adding the Muse Driver to your pedalboard instantly elevates your sound, offering a professional-grade overdrive with the flexibility of true or buffered bypass.
