This guitar revives the spirit of beloved music with its Sitka spruce soundboard, salvaged from downed trees in Alaska. Sitka spruce, known for its strength, lightness, and extended harmonic content, has been a preferred top wood for U.S.-made instruments for decades. The Honduran mahogany back and sides produce a balanced, resonant tone with a thick bottom end, rich midrange, and warm top end. Notably, no forests were clear-cut to build Bedell 1964 guitars.
