Yamaha FG-TA TransAcoustic, Right Handed Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Brown Sunburst Finish, Solid Spruce Top, Mahogany Back and Sides, Yamaha Model FGTA BS.
TransAcoustic Technology allows for immersive reverb and lush chorus effects without needing an amp or other external gear. An actuator installed on the inner surface of the guitar back vibrates in response to the vibrations of the strings. The vibrations of the actuator are then conveyed to the body of the guitar and to the air in and around the guitar body, generating authentic reverb and chorus sounds from inside the body.

• Mahogany back and sides add warm and body to the tone
• Scalloped bracing provides louder, richer acoustic sound

- Tune to pitch.
- Play to test that action meets factory specifications; listen and feel for any buzzing, intonation issues or uncomfortable playability.
- Feel for sharp fret edges.
- Inspect finish.
- Confirm all electronics, pots and switches function appropriately.
- Confirm all mechanical operations work properly including whammy bars, fine tuners and built in tuners.
- Inspect construction.
- Inspect condition of the strings.
- If powered by a battery, confirm it is at full strength.
- Humidify if necessary.
- Technician signs the tag to confirm that all details have been completed.
