Featuring a Venetian cutaway for easy access to the highest notes on the fretboard, this model is made with layered koa back and sides and a solid spruce top. With electronics built-in and quality Taylor craftsmanship to ensure playability and longevity, the 214ce is a guitar that can help any player grow.
- Grand Auditorium body offers an appealing combination of width and depth, similar to the dreadnought, but with sleeker lines and a narrower waist, which help provide transparency, tonal balance, note separation, projection and just the right amount of high-end sparkle
- Sitka spruce top generates a broad dynamic range and accommodates numerous playing styles from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking
- Layered koa back and sides retains much of Hawaiian koa's flavour in tone while providing added durability against the elements
