Good entry level sub!
Great budget subwoofer for the price point. Purchased on sale for $625 all in on boxing week. It has a good active crossover and large heatsink on the back amp. There is also a fan in the amplifier for added cooling. The cabinet is painted like the EV ELX series, so it may be easily scratched or dented. Power output is good, though it feels more like a 600W sub peak. Sound is punchy, and fairly warm. No rattles or abnormal noises from the grille or cabinet. It earns a 4 star only for the fact it does limit fairly easily. Do not expect high SPL from this sub, it performs very much like an EV ELX118 active sub. For the price its good value! I will be using for mobile DJ use.
