The GPC-X2E is a reimagined version of the GPCX2AE Macassar, which features a cutaway Grand Performance body with a Macassar pattern on the high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides. It's affordable while being great sounding, striking looking, and having Martin quality craftsmanship.

- Confirm all mechanical operations work properly including whammy bars, fine tuners and built in tuners.
- Inspect construction.
- Inspect condition of the strings.
- If powered by a battery, confirm it is at full strength.
- Humidify if necessary.
- Technician signs the tag to confirm that all details have been completed.
