The AEG series' slender, single-cutaway bodies deliver powerful and balanced acoustic sound, unplugged or through an amp or PA system. These guitars combine easy playability, classic solid and sunburst finishes, and intuitive electronics to create a quality, workhorse acoustic guitar that will rise to any occasion. High quality Ibanez under-saddle pickups and Ibanez preamps with onboard tuners provide sparkling tones that sound great in any environment.
- Spruce top provides tone with strong, clear projection
- Nyatoh neck provides a rich mid-low end
- Specially designed vine inlay provides a beautiful aesthetic
- Small and simple preamp allows players to adjust the tone easily and enables them to go from low, fat and powerful tones to a bright and crisp sound while adjusting only one knob
- Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins, with a special bulb-shaped end that makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far

- Play to test that action meets factory specifications; listen and feel for any buzzing, intonation issues or uncomfortable playability.
- Feel for sharp fret edges.
- Inspect finish.
- Confirm all electronics, pots and switches function appropriately.
- Confirm all mechanical operations work properly including whammy bars, fine tuners and built in tuners.
- Inspect construction.
- Inspect condition of the strings.
- If powered by a battery, confirm it is at full strength.
- Humidify if necessary.
- Technician signs the tag to confirm that all details have been completed.
