The limited-edition HM Strat has the same unique look and specs that helped the '88-'92 models compete with the hot-rodded Strat impersonators of the day. Built in the same factory as the original, the HM (Heavy Metal) Strat channels the energy of hair metal shredders.
- Basswood body with Bright White gloss finish provides a simple, retro aesthetic
- Narrow C-shaped neck with unique 25.1" scale, 17" radius maple fingerboard, and 24 jumbo frets allow nearly effortless bends and technical fretwork
- Floyd Rose Special recessed bridge keeps everything perfectly in-tune even after the deepest dive-bombs
- High-gain HSS pickup configuration delivers hot humbucker tones in the bridge that can be split for more traditional Strat sounds when combined with the single coil neck and middle pickups
- Gotoh tuners, molded F logo knobs, and black headcap with highly stylized '80s-era "STRAT" silk logo add to the shredder aesthetic

- Confirm all mechanical operations work properly including whammy bars, fine tuners and built in tuners.
- Inspect construction.
- Inspect condition of the strings.
- If powered by a battery, confirm it is at full strength.
- Humidify if necessary.
- Technician signs the tag to confirm that all details have been completed.
