Tuned to GDAE the Aquila is an easy transition from an acoustic violin, with the benefits of low volume for practice, and high volume for performance with no feedback!
Specifications
The body is hollow, moulded from a Kevlar and carbon fibre composite with a high strength to weight ratio.
The hollow body generates a sound profile within body structure presenting an open sound without the use of reverb or delay.
It is smooth and forgiving when played and allows low volume practice without the use of headphones or amps.
Very stable across temperature and humidity ranges.

Kevlar/Carbon fiber body. Amazing piezo pick up system with built in metal plate in the bridge. Tone and volume knob. Sweet glossy finish. And all this established in a very light weight instrument which you can plug straight into an amp while no pre-amp is required. When the tone knob is cranked down to 'low', the instrument provides a very meaty bottom end, versus the contrasting 'high' function allowing for a sweet light tone that sings like birds. The best thing about it, in my opinion, is that you don't even have to get used to it. The Bridge electric feels just like an Eastman acoustic violin at the same price point.
If you are reading this, you (or the person you are shopping for) are probably interested in performing on an electric violin, or looking for something to practice on quietly. This is a great product that will permit for a very low adjustability factor and a wide range of application. Definitely try this!
