SCHOOL ACTIVITY DAYS
Our making music makes you smarter philosophy also carries over to the activities we offer here at Cosmo Music. For children of all ages we have programs that will suit all needs.
Choose from the list of activities that we have arranged for you or create your own, it is up to you!
Mystic Drumz & Cosmo Music present Music Safari Adventure Tours
Mystic Drumz programs are a musical safari adventure. Students are engaged in music and sounds from around the world. The workshops integrate music and movement games, storytelling about ethnic instruments, performances and demonstrations of world music instruments and plenty of hands-on music making.
During the session children jam on an extensive variety of authentic instruments including African drumz, Latin bongos, South American rhythm sticks, assorted bells, tambourines, triangles, shakers, BoomWackers and more. Bringing the rhythms of over 60 percussion instruments into the classroom!
Includes:
- morning or afternoon session in the Cosmopolitan Music Hall
- Up to 40 students (please refer to the Booking Form for the appropriate number of supervisors for your group)
- Mystic Drumz show
- house lights
- 1 Cosmo Music host
Price: $600 + GST
Food is extra; students are encouraged to eat their lunch at school but snacks can be eaten in the Cosmopolitan Music Hall.
O Canada
Students will receive choir training from one of our professional vocal instructors from the Cosmo School of Music to sing O Canada and have it recorded so that it can be played during morning announcements. Students will sing with a variety of instruments to make it a professional recording.
Includes:
- morning or afternoon session in the Cosmopolitan Music Hall
- Up to 35 students (please refer to the Booking Form for the appropriate number of supervisors for your group)
- 1 professional vocal instructor
- 1 professional technician
- house lights
- 1 Cosmo Music host
Price: $600 + GST
Food is extra; students are encouraged to eat their lunch at school but snacks can be eaten in the Cosmopolitan Music Hall.
Multiple Musical Experiences
Students will be able to experience a variety of music. They will rotate through hand drumming/drum core, intro to DJing, playing Rock Band the video game and karaoke recording in 30 minute intervals.
