Amazing pads...easy as pie to program. 13-01-18 -
I've had the SH-01 Gaia for several months now and it never becomes old. The stock patches are excellent for hammering out ideas, but the ability to create patches from scratch quickly is what sets this apart from other VA synths. Lightweight, battery powered (AC Adapter Incl.), small footprint. Really love the pad sounds. Immediately downloaded the Luftrum 6 Collection and fell in love with this synth all over again. If you're new to sythesis, this is the easiest and most affordable way to learn and enjoy making electronic music. An essential component in my synth arsenal next to the Fantom G and the Arturia Laboratory.

Great starter synth 12-04-16 -
The new Roland SH01 or normally called the GAIA is a great entry level virtual analog synthesizer. The 37 note, 64 voice polyphony synth sounds great and since you can stack 3 big sounding oscillators you won't run out of polyphony too soon for your electronic song production. All of the editing control is on the front panel so even beginners can start programming your own sounds quickly and easily. All of the control , knobs , sliders are right in front of you. Its lightweight at only 10lbs. it looks and sounds great for around 650.00
