Shopping Guarantee

Cosmo Music is committed to providing you with a wide selection of quality musical gear in a friendly and safe shopping environment. We have created a shopping experience that will make it easy for you to browse, search, research and buy. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase at Cosmo Music you can exchange or return your purchase within 30 days from the shipping date (see 'Non-Returnable Items' for product exceptions).

We understand that there are many components in creating shopping value. We offer 24-hour shopping in the privacy of your own home, finding the products you need and the brands you want at great prices. If you are not blown away by your shopping experience at Cosmo Music we want to hear about it; contact our customer service department with your feedback.

Low Price Guarantee

For every product we sell we will match any price from a local store stocking the same new item available for sale with a manufacturer's warranty and in a factory-sealed box. Even after your purchase if you find a lower price within 30 days, including our own sales prices, we will refund 100% of the difference. Our Low Price Guarantee does not apply when the competitor's price includes bonus or free offers, special financing, installation or rebate, or to one-of-a-kind or other limited offers.

Commonly asked questions about our Low Price Guarantee:

I bought an item from you last week and now you have it on sale for $50 less, what should I do?
Just go to any Cosmo Music with your receipt and we will credit you with the $50 difference. 

Do you match the prices in membership warehouses?
We do honour lower prices from warehouse clubs since they are legitimate retailers.

Another dealer in town has a lower price on an item you carry but is out of stock at the moment. Why won't you honor their price?
In order for us to match a lower price, the item must be immediately available from the competitor. If not, we must assume that the offer is not legitimate. Though rare, some retailers promote low prices on out-of-stock items to practice bait-and-switch tactics or to harm the competition. Don't worry, if you purchase from us and within thirty days the competitor receives the item and still sells it for less we will match the price!

Do I need an ad to prove someone else has a lower price?
Absolutely not! An ad or other proof is helpful but not required. If you do not have some proof we will attempt to verify the price by other means (phone or shopping visit). We shop all of our major competition regularly and do our best to give you great everyday prices... but occasionally we will miss an item and we appreciate your bringing it to our attention. We want to see that you get the best price in town because great service and great prices form the basis of a lasting relationship with our customers.

Cosmo Online Policies and Guarantees

Cosmo Music is the best place to buy your music gear and we stand behind our products and guarantee your satisfaction with every order. If, for any reason, your shipment is not satisfactory we will gladly replace it or refund your money (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days.

Returned items must be factory fresh, showing no signs of wear and tear. All returns must include all original packaging, paperwork, and cartons for a complete refund. Any products not returned in the condition originally shipped (e.g. hours used on tapes, weathered products, missing packaging or paperwork) require a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price.

Refunds take approximately two weeks to process. Refunds are credited back to the original credit card. If you are returning a gift we can credit the buyer's credit card only. We are sorry, but gift certificates cannot be issued or accepted for online orders right now.

Please contact customer service to obtain a 'Return Authorization' number and instructions before returning any items.

Return Procedure:

Non-Returnable Items:
The following media cannot be returned if the seal or original shrink-wrap has been removed or opened: software, videos, cassettes, CDs, DAT tapes and other pre-recorded media.

Defective media may be returned in exchange for the same title. Non-defective media that has been opened cannot be returned.

Recorders, harmonicas, kazoos, mouthpieces, reeds, books and microphones cannot be returned for sanitary or copyright reasons.

Shipping Charges on Returned Items:
We are sorry, but shipping and handling charges on returned items are not refundable. Please contact customer service if you have any questions regarding shipping charges on returns.

Defective Merchandise:
Upon inspection and verification of a manufacturer's defect Cosmo Music will gladly replace the defective merchandise and pay for the return shipping charges. Of course our 30-day return stands behind this and every purchase.

Missing Items:
If an item is missing from your order please contact Customer Service to determine the cause. Sometimes items are shipped separately or you may have inadvertently left it out of your original order, in which case you may place another order. If Cosmo Music did leave out an item we will send it to you at no additional shipping charge.

Over Shipment:
If Cosmo Music inadvertently sends you more items than you ordered we will gladly pay the return shipping charges for the additional items.

Wrong Items:
If you receive the wrong item please contact customer service. You will not be charged shipping for returning the wrong item or additional shipping for receiving the correct item.

We are sorry, but if you mistakenly ordered the wrong item you will have to pay all shipping charges associated with returning the item and ordering another item.

Gift Return:
If you would like to return an item that was purchased for you as a gift please contact customer service. We can only credit the buyer's credit card. We are sorry, but gift certificates cannot be issued or accepted for online orders right now.

Return Status:
To check on the status of your return please contact customer service. It takes approximately two weeks to process your return so please wait two weeks before inquiring as to the status of your return.

Inventory Availability

Cosmo Music lists inventory availability on each product offered. We stand behind our brands and the ability to deliver them to your door quickly and safely!

In-Stock:
We pride ourselves in having most items in-stock. In-stock means our warehouse currently has inventory on hand to fulfill your order. If a product is in-stock we will ship within 24 hours of placing your order.

On Order:
There are times when a product will be out of stock. An out-of-stock product can still be placed in your Shopping Cart and ordered! In most cases these items are on order from our manufacturers and usually arrive shortly. In some cases we are awaiting or researching stock information from our manufacturers as to availability.

If for any reason we determine that an out-of-stock item will no longer be available at all, we notify you immediately and cancel the item from your order and delete the item from our catalog.

Note: we never charge your credit card or your account until the item ships; therefore no adjustment will need to be made to your credit card upon order cancellation.
