Want to play in a band? “Rock out” at Cosmo with our professional-level camp.  Campers will work with a band of peers in preparation for a final concert on the last day of each week of camp.

Students of the guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals are welcome.  (Minimum 1 year instruction required.)  Guitarists and bass players are asked to bring their own instruments. Drums, keyboards and amplifiers will be provided. 

New this year!  Register as a recording technician and learn the basics of sound engineering.  Space is limited to 3 participants per week.  (No experience necessary.)

Brass, Strings, Woodwinds, Percussion! 

Summer sizzles with exciting arrangements for young instrumentalists.  Music from Mozart to the Muppets will excite and inspire budding musicians.  A concert on the last day of camp will allow campers to perform for friends and family.

In addition to preparation for the final concert, students will participate in large ensemble classes, work on ear training & be a part of exciting workshops to improve their confidence & performance ability.

Lights, Camera, Action! Campers will take centre stage as they prepare to present a musical complete with singing, dancing and acting. Students will gain a higher level of self-confidence and creativity as they explore character development, set-design, improvisational games and creative movement.

The final performance will be held at 4:00 on Fri. Aug. 13, 2010. All campers are required to attend the final performance for their family and friends.

Around the world in 88 keys!  Join us for a musical adventure as we explore the music of five cultures from around the world.  Children will be engaged in singing games, music and movement, musical arts and crafts, as well as an introduction to group piano.

Campers will participate in group Piano, Violin and Guitar classes, and will also be introduced to hand drumming and singing.  A perfect way to help choose which instrument will be the best fit for lessons in September.
