MARCH BREAK CAMPS
Join us for a unique musical March Break experience for your children. Each camp is taught by professional musicians and educators and is held in our new state-of-the-art facility featuring a performance venue right on site!
Rock Camp
Dreaming of becoming a rock star? Improve your skills at Cosmo with our professional-level camp. Campers will work with a band of peers in preparation for the final performance on Friday, March 19th at 4:00 pm. Students of the guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals are welcome.
Prerequisite: Students must have a minimum of 6 months private instruction in order to participate.

Camp-in-a-Day
Camp-in-a-day is a one day program offered to current Brass, Woodwind, and String students. This program is an introduction to chamber music and large ensemble playing for students ages 10 and up. Camp will start with a short performance by each student followed by a Band/Orchestra Workshop with School Director Adine Mintz.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on sight-reading skills and large ensemble playing. Following lunch, students will be grouped into small ensembles where they will work on verbal and non-verbal communication with their peers and collaborating musically. The afternoon will end with a short performance by each chamber group for one another.
Registration: From Feb. 1 to Mar. 1, 2010
Prerequisite: Students must have a minimum of 1 year private instruction and a teacher recommendation in order to participate.
