MUSICAL THEATRE

“All the world’s a stage!” Come join our one-of-a-kind musical theatre program that will prepare students for life. Your budding actor will flourish under the direction and coaching of our professional staff. Private acting classes will help build technique and confidence while ensemble rehearsals will inspire and develop teamwork skills. All participants will perform in 2 presentations given throughout the year.

Skills taught in each program:

• enunciation and vocal projection
• artistic expression of a range of emotions
• self-confidence
• ability to handle pressure
• clear expression of thoughts and arguments
• exposure to literature
• memory work
• exploration of a range of theatre styles including drama and comedy

Ages: 8-12 years

Cost: $630 / 20 weeks (includes 1 private + 1 group lesson each week)

Final Performance: Sunday May 30, 2010

Pre-requisites: No experience necessary.
Participants must be the appropriate age by February 1, 2010.
