GROUP PIANO

Music for Little Mozarts group piano classes provide your young musician an excellent start to formal instrumental study. Unlike other courses that focus entirely on keyboard performance activities Music for Little Mozarts combines general musicianship activities with those that develop performance skills at the piano. This program is designed to provide a balance between the discipline necessary for play in the instrument and the enjoyment one gets from the process of music-making.    

In order to facilitate practice at home parents will attend the last 15 minutes of each class for sharing time.

A final performance will be held on Sunday June 20, 2010.

Skills taught in each program:
•    keyboard proficiency
•    listening
•    pitch matching
•    singing
•    rhythm and movement
•    music appreciation

It is strongly suggested that students have a keyboard at home for practice. Fee includes all required books.

Registration for this program is now closed. Our next session will begin in September 2010.  Registration for this program will begin in June 2010.
