GROUP GUITAR
Learn the basics popular guitar technique in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Students must supply their own acoustic guitar. Books will be provided. Students will have the opportunity to perform in a recital on Sunday April 25, 2010.
Skills taught in each program:
• open postion chords
• staff reading
• strumming techniques
• melody playing
• alternate picking
Materials needed: An acoustic guitar. Fee includes all required books.

Pre-requisites: No experience necessary to join Group Guitar Part 1. Some experience or Group Guitar Part 1 is required for participation in Group Guitar Part 2.
Students must be the appropriate age by February 1, 2010.
