Cosmo School of Music is proud to present an exciting line-up of music camps for students of all ages. Our camps are all led by professional musicians and are held in our fully-equiped music studios and performance hall.

Summer 2012 Camps
Choose from six extraordinary musical summer experiences for the musician in your family. Each program is taught by professional musicians and educators and is held in our new state-of-the-art facility featuring a performance venue right on site!

Rock Camp 2012
Want to play in a band? “Rock out” at Cosmo with our professional-level camp. Campers will work with a band of peers in preparation for a final concert on the last day of each week of camp. Workshops on songwriting, technique and musicianship will take your skills to the next level.
Students of the guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals are welcome (minimum 1 year instruction required). Guitarists and bass players are asked to bring their own instruments. Drums, keyboards andamplifiers will be provided.
Existing bands are welcome to join Rock Camp and work as a band. Our coaches will help you reach your full potential. This is a great way to get ready for the stage or the recording studio.

Price: $425 per student per week

Prerequisite: Campers need a minimum of 1 year private instruction to be eligible.
Extended hours are available until 5:30pm for $25/week.
Glee Camp 2012
Love to sing? Can’t get enough of the hit TV show Glee? Join us for a week of singing, dancing and fun! Learn vocal harmonies and have fun in the spotlight! This week long camp will bring together singing, dancing and acting in a final performance in our Cosmopolitan Music Hall!
Ages: 7-12
Price: $350 per student per week
Dates: July 30-August 3, 2012
Time: 9am-4pm
Prerequisite: No previous experience required.
Extended hours are available until 5:30pm for $25/week.
Jazz and Chamber Music Camp 2012
Join our Jazz and Chamber Music Camp for a week of fun and challenging music!
This camp is ideal for instrumentalists with a minimum of 2 years playing experience and are looking for a challenge. Campers will play in Jazz Combos or Chamber Ensembles based on their experience and musical interest and will work with our professional teaching faculty.
Workshops on Technique, Improv, Theory, and daily coaching sessions will expand campers musical knowledge. The week will culminate in a showcase of all groups in our Cosmopolitan Music Hall.
Ages: 9-16
Price: $350 per student
Dates: August 20-24, 2012
Time: 9am-4pm
Prerequisite: Campers need a minimum of 2 year private instruction to be eligible.

Summer in the Music Garden 2012
A fun-filled half-day program for children ages 4 & 5.
Let us inspire your child with the joy of music. Each day we will discover new songs and stories, while introducing notation and exploring musical arts and crafts. Choose a morning or afternoon program.
Ages: 4-5
Time: 9am-11:30am
Price: $150 per student per week (half-day)
Dates: August 13-17, 2012
No previous experience is necessary. Children are asked to bring their own nut-free snack each day.
Instrumental Sampler Camp 2012
Is your child interested in music? Not sure which instrument to choose? Try our instrumental sampler camp! Campers will participate in group Piano, Violin and Guitar/Ukulele classes, and will also be introduced to hand drumming and singing. A perfect way to help choose which instrument will be the best fit for lessons in September.
