Guidelines-Quotations-Reservations
Welcome to the Pro Audio Rental Department
Here are some general guidelines you should know:
- All Pro Audio Department rentals require the renter to present their valid Ontario Driver's License and their valid Visa, MasterCard or American Express card at the time of pickup.
- The credit card used by the renter is regarded as a deposit and will be used for any and all future charges that may apply to the rental agreement including loss, damage, extensions, etc.
- The renter's credit card will be authorized (not charged, but authorized) at the time of pickup for an amount up to the full replacement value of the goods being rented.
- The renter is fully responsible for any rental equipment during the contract terms.
- All rentals due back Monday through Thursday are due by 4pm.
- All rentals due back Friday or Saturday are due by 12pm.
- All rentals due back Sunday are due by 2pm.
- All late rentals will be automatically extended for the contract term and price without notice.
- Any equipment/accessories not returned will be charged to the renter’s credit card without notice.

To make a quick and simple reservation, please read below in it’s entirety:
Rental Quotations:
We understand that you need to plan your events & productions and that rental equipment plays a considerable part in this, so we are more then happy to provide a quote for anything you may require. You can send an email to rentals(at)cosmomusic.ca outlining your equipment request and the dates/times you wish to pickup and we’ll email you back a quotation ASAP, usually by then end of the next business day.
You can also contact us at any time by calling 905-770-5222 and dial x370 for the rental desk or come in and see us. You’ll speak with either Ryan, Tyler, Tyson, Josh or Mark, all of which can advise you on your rental needs. They’ll provide you with detailed information and pricing. If you cannot reach us in person, please leave a message in our voicemail and we’ll call you back ASAP. Remember, these are not reservations at this time.
To make a Reservation:
We can only begin guaranteeing a reservation starting at store opening (10am) on “the Monday of the week” (meaning that if you want to pickup your rental gear on Friday May 7th, we can take your reservation no earlier then 10am on Monday May 3rd). The reason that you’ll find that most companies don’t accept ANY reservations of ANY kind are due to circumstances that are beyond our control.
You can contact us by email at rentals(at)cosmomusic.ca, by phone at 905-770-5222 x370 or coming into the store. When you contact us, we will verify what equipment we have available (to ensure that you receive perfectly operation gear, we must physically have it in our department). We will confirm your reservation either verbally (we’ll say “I can confirm your reservation”) or see an email to that affect, it means that we have sourced it in our Pro Audio Rental Department and physically placed your reservation tape on the actual piece of equipment you will pickup later that week. Should a certain item not be available we will do our best to make a recommendation for a suitable replacement if available.
Be assured that we will never make a promise on a piece of equipment without knowing that it is available to hold for you and has cleared thorough testing.
