The iCDMIX 2 is the first CDMIX to feature an integrated Universal Dock for iPod, enabling you to play music from virtually any docking iPod. iCDMIX 2 is designed for professional use, housed in an all-metal chassis for years of rugged, reliable performance. iCDMIX 2 contains a dual-deck CD player with all of the functionality and capabilities professional DJs expect in standalone units. iCDMIX 2 plays CD and CD-R discs.

For performance reliability in unpredictable environments iCDMIX 2 features Numark’s electronically buffered Anti-Shock™ skip protection. You can also set cue points in real time for creative performance. iCDMIX 2 has Fader Start, which can automatically start cued-up playback when you move the crossfader.

iCDMIX 2 has a three-channel mixer section that is complete and on par with standalone mixers. It has a mic channel and a dedicated channel for the iPod, as well as replaceable crossfader and pre-fader cueing controls. For the main channels, you can switch between the onboard CD players or rear-panel RCA inputs for additional CD players, additional iPods or turntables with preamps such as TTX USB or TTi. You can cue with headphones using 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch stereo headphone outputs with level control. iCDMIX 2 has professional outputs for compatibility with virtually any system.



 

The MP3 audio format has taken the world by storm and now the CDJ-800MK2 can play all your MP3s; CBR or VBR at any bitrate from CD-R or CD-RW. It is 7-inch jogdial has been improved to a slightly stiffer feel as well as a new metallic non-slip finish for better scratch performance. The Jog Dial Display is now brighter and has been brought closer to the surface of the Jog for better viewing angles. The centre display also features 45-degree markers for added visual cueing assistance. The main display can now show CD-Text and ID3 data for rapid track identification. Expanded Internal MemoryMore memory points can now be recorded to the player's internal memory for rapid recall of your commonly used cue points. DJ's can use the +/- 100% pitch control range to create new sound effects from opposite ends of the sound spectrum and also to BPM match completely different tracks.

The world’s first DJ mixer with Auto Harmonic Tuning detects the key of song and automatically corrects to the closest true key. In music theory terms, when a DJ raises the pitch of a song in the key of C by three percent the song is no longer in the key of C but somewhere between C and C sharp. This makes it impossible to perform a perfect harmonic mix.

The DJM-800 incorporates a highpass / lowpass filter, notch filter and bit crusher effect for all channels. In conjunction with the additional Beat Effects, 50 combinations of effects are possible.

Higher quality effects at 24bits make for a cleaner sounding remix. The effects automatically detect the BPM of the music and sync to the beats.
The DJM-800 includes some familiar effects, plus some new ones: Echo, Delay, Reverse Delay, Pan, Transform, Filter, Flanger, Phaser, Reverb, Robot, Chorus, Roll and Reverse Roll.
