Extremely convenient to use and attractively priced, the USB-powered CI2 includes the Cubase AI5 audio workstation, a streamlined sibling of the Steinberg Cubase 5 Advanced Music Production System. Thanks to the unique Advanced Integration technology that blurs the boundaries between hardware and software functionality, the CI2 interface integrates seamlessly with Cubase AI5, offering you unmatched advantages when it comes to recording and producing your music. Simply select a template from the Project Assistant, start, stop, rewind your recording at the press of a button (or the optional footswitch), and refine your song with the mixing and editing tools in Cubase AI5. Of course, the CI2 works just as well with rest of the Cubase 5.1 family, so your set-up can be scaled to ideally fit your needs and budget.
Technically, the CI2 features a two-channel XLR combo interface equipped with two sophisticated microphone preamps and phantom power, one HI-Z for direct guitar input and a footswitch connector for Interactive Recording. The controller section features our innovative AI Knob that provides intuitive control and seamless integration with Cubase. All in all, the CI2 has been designed to let you focus on exactly that which is most important to your music your creativity.
