Customer Service Rep (Educational Print Music Specialist)

Cosmo Music is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our Customer Service Team as an Educational Print Music Specialist.

The ideal candidate would have 3 or more years of music retail / industry experience, be customer service oriented, have a solid base-knowledge of Print Music, particularly as it relates to school business, and be interested in helping to create a welcoming and positive shopping experience for Cosmo Music customers.

Qualifications include:

  • Excellent organizational abilities; can prioritize and meet timelines in a busy environment
  • Thorough knowledge of Print Music as used in Elementary and Secondary School programs
  • Exhibit superior interpersonal, customer relations skills

Cosmo Music is looking for a qualified Shipper/Receiver/Driver. This is a full-time, permanent position. Position is 40 hours per week including days, evenings and weekends.

Audio Visual Technician - Live Events

Cosmo Professional Services is Toronto's fastest growing Audio Visual provider for private, corporate, and live music events across Ontario. We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Audio/Visual Technicians. Our home base is located in Richmond Hill and your working area would be generally within, but not limited to, the GTA.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operation of audio systems including digital mixers, active and passive speaker systems, monitors and microphones
  • Setup and dismantle of portable stages (SL100, SL250 or Smartstage)
  • Basic rigging including chainfalls/motors and truss structures
  • Setup and operation of wireless microphones and IEM monitoring systems
  • Loading and unloading of trucks, setting up and striking of equipment
  • Working knowledge of current audio, lighting, video and staging equipment
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel and ability to learn our proprietary Rental Solutions Software
  • Experience as a musician is a bonus; working with musicians is a must

Requirements:

  • You must have experience working the technical aspects of Live Events
  • Strong customer service skills
  • The candidate must be able to work both in team and independent environments
  • A clean driver's abstract
  • Be willing to travel within the GTA and beyond
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and drive large trucks up to 24'
