The word Xeno means "foreign," or "from the outside." As its name implies, the Xeno project involved internationally acclaimed foreign artists, especially including American and British born trumpet players and technicians to create and test countless prototypes. Artists in [...] Read more

Cosmo now has the new, very powerful Universal Audio Satellite UAD-2 Duo Firewire DSP Accelerator! It is an awesome edition to your Macbook Pro or iMac system. The UAD-2 powered plug-in platform is a family of very high quality analog software audio plug-ins that are powered by dedicated hardware DSP(Digital Signal Processors) accelerators. They make it available in PCie/Expresscard format or in this case on the Firewire 400/800 bus.
It can be used in any VST/AU or Rtas compatible software on Mac or Windows computers. This UAD-2 Satellite is available only on the Apple Macintosh format. I think that this is [...] Read more

I recently picked up the CME VX80 - 88 key, fully weighted USB/Firewire controller. It’s the ultimate controller with the world’s first keyboard complete with motorized faders for controlling your software with recall and automation capabilities. They make 49/61/76/88 key models with after touch. The 88 key model has a graded hammer action that I personally like. We have the 49/76 and 88 models currently in stock!
I do have to admit that piano action is very personal. I also LOVE the Roland RD700NX or V-Piano wooden key actions even more. These Rolands also make an awesome weighted [...] Read more

One of the finest technical drummers that has graced us all with his talent was born on July 17th, 1928. He passed away on March 12th, 2011 at the age of 82…
I have been a drum salesman for well over a decade, and in all my days of doing it, I’ve never heard anyone speak of Joe Morello without a great amount of respect. One of my dreams over the years was to actually have a private lesson with Joe. He used to put advertisements in the back of Modern Drummer saying “JOE MORELLO, now accepting private [...] Read more
