Yesterday's event with the Allan Holdsworth band was outstanding with a packed house of about 275 guests. It was a pleasure to have one of the top jazz fusion guitarists of all time to be playing @ Cosmo Music, accompanied by world class musicians Jimmy Haslip on bass and Virgil Donati on drums. The trio performed incredibly well together with each taking solos in turn to showcase their exceptional skills. A night to remember!

Cosmo School of Music offers a special hands-on workshop to fine tune drumming skills for both the new and intermediate drum students. Drumming pro and Cosmo School of Music teacher Daniel Piccilo will be on hand to demonstrate different approaches and styles of playing. This workshop is an ongoing program through the Music School here at Cosmo Music.

When I first started, I played only Vic Firth 7A's, and they did the job fine. But when I started exploring the different sticks, I found many sounds and feels from sticks that change how I play.
