My first-ever trip to NAMM was incredible! What a great opportunity to get a new and thorough overview of what is going on in the world of music retail. It's a much larger world out there than most of us might think! Here in the Band and Orchestra Department we get a lot of parents asking our advice on buying vs. purchasing a child's first band instrument. While every situation is different, we can usually guide you toward the best option for you and your young musician.
Here are the most common points we address in our department when parents come to us for advice.
