Cosmo Music and The Royal Conservatory Examinations invite you to a free pedagogy workshop with Barbara Dunn-Prosse.

Resonance™ A Comprehensive Voice Series & Voice Syllabus, 2012 Edition.

Resonance™ is the fourth edition of the acclaimed Voice Series published by The Frederick Harris Music Co., Limited. As in previous editions, Resonance™ encompasses a rich and varied selection of Repertoire, Vocalises, and Recitatives that students of all ages and voice types will find appropriate to their musical interests and level of technical ability. New to this edition, musical theatre and some popular styles are represented in levels 1 to 8 of the Repertoire books.

Barbara Dunn-Prosse
Barbara holds a Master of Arts in English Literature, an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Music and English, and a Bachelor of Education in Music, English, and Drama from Queen’s University as well as ARCT Diplomas in Voice Performance and Piano Performance. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and The Royal Conservatory College of Examiners, where she serves on the Council of Examiners. Barbara teaches voice in Stratford, Ontario and at The University of Western Ontario.

In her performing career Barbara has appeared in Rhombus Media’s film of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, toured southern Ontario with her one-woman show, and been a featured soloist with symphony orchestras across North America. Barbara spent several seasons with the Canadian Opera Company, the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and in both the touring and Toronto companies of The Phantom of the Opera.

Barbara, with her colleague Susan Ambrose, was a co-compiler of the Frederick Harris Music Co., Limited’s 2012 publication Resonance: A Comprehensive Voice Series, and the 2012 edition of The Royal Conservatory’s Voice Syllabus, 2012 edition.
