Its been over 20 years since they made a synthesizer with the very popular CZ series.
Yes, you get access to the original Casio CZ synth sounds in the XW-P1.
The six oscillator monophonic solo synth engine sounds amazing and was designed with the performer in mind. The regular sounds have 64 note polyphony so it does sound huge. It only weighs 11 pounds. This gig ready 61-key synth has a lots of sounds ranging from pianos to brass to bass and drums. There are over 400 presets to get you started but it has 4 real time control knobs for editing which is very easy to do on the front panel.
It has an onboard 13-track sequencer which is perfect for live gigs. The 16-step programmable arpeggiator lets you create complex patterns. They included a drawbar organ mode as well which is a great touch to make it the MOST affordable gig ready keyboard out there. There is a rotary speaker emulation which sounds ok but for serious users add a Neo Ventilator! Which we are proud to stock at Cosmo ! :) The Ventilator sells for more than XWP1 so this is for serious organ users.
There are some really nice additions making it very complete by including both an 1/8th inch input as well as a ¼” input for a mic or Ipad! There is a spot for your Ipad or tablet on the right hand side of the instrument. The XW-P! has been selling VERY well since we received our first shipment late last week and the buzz online and amongst our customers has been great. Long time Casio marketing manager Mike Martin has a few very cool videos online on YOUTUBE showing it off and explaining how it works and sounds. Check it out at Cosmo now in stock! Get one fast as this is one hot synth!
