  • Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Buy a New Piano...

Posted on July 22, 2010 by John Ebata

Everyone has their own reasons for choosing a piano for their family but we thought we'd outline the top ten reasons why you should purchase a New piano.

Sound – Piano is full of many shades of tone color and is expressive.

  • Our thoughts on the Korg SV-1, Nord Electro 3 & Roland V-Combo VR-700

Posted on July 19, 2010 by Cosmo Music

Specifically, three relatively new keyboards that are designed primarily to cover the “bread and butter” keyboard sounds: Piano, Organ, Electric Piano and Clavinet. Korg SV-1
Action: available in 73 or 88 note versions and has weighted action, great for acoustic piano, not ideal for organ
Sounds: out of [...]  Read more

  • Ryan's Pick of the Week - Ernie Ball Celebrates 25 Years with Music Man with 2 New Models!

Posted on July 9, 2010 by Ryan Casselman

After a quarter century of design excellence, Music Man has done it again.
The 25th Anniversary guitar builds upon Ernie Ball's standard Axis shape, but is slightly larger with a chambered basswood body, an arm contour, updated electronics, adjustable pickups and chrome hardware. The guitar also incorporates a 5-way pickup selector and series/parallel toggle switch to allow for interesting combinations of the two Di Marzio humbuckers.
The 25th Anniversary bass boasts the same great feel and playability that has made these basses so iconic, but what sets this model apart is the elaborate switching system. The 4 push button controls allow you [...]  Read more
